2004 Scholarship Winners

SWAT tennis announces the 2004 Judith Fisher Memorial Scholarship recipients. This year's winners are Monica Gray, daughter of John and Sharon Gray of Staunton, VA. Also, Tyler Spencer, son of Dr. and Mrs. Tim Spencer of Staunton, VA.

Monica is a graduating senior from RE Lee High school. She is the current Valley District Singles and Doubles champion. She played number 1 singles for the past two years and led the Lee Ladies to the 2004 District title. Monica was also the President of the SCA and a member of the National Honor Society.

Tyler is a graduating senior from RE Lee High school. He played Number 1 singles and doubles for Lee for three years and was a three time District Singles and Doubles champion during his high school career. He was President of the senior class and a member of the National Honor Society. Both Tyler and Monica plan to enter the University of Virginia in the fall of 2004.
