Rally in the Valley Tournament 2001
The 2001 Rally in the Valley, held June 16 and 17, was the last time this tournament was USTA sanctioned. The size of the draw was small so SWAT decided to make subsequent tournaments non-sanctioned in hopes of drawing more local players. The only local winners were Holly Egnor in the Girls 18 Singles and Blaine Morriss and Tyler Walk in the Boys 18 Doubles. 2001 was also the last time the tournament was held in June. For subsequent tournaments, the date was moved to Labor Day weekend in hopes of catching more local players available to play.
