SWAT is pleased to announce that the winners of the 2007
Judith Fisher Memorial Scholarships are Brittany Swann from Robert E.
Lee High School and Brad Leavell from Stuarts Draft High School.
Brittany and Brad have been assets to their communities and teams, and
have excelled on and off the tennis court. Each will receive a $1,000
scholarship in memory of Judith Fisher, who was a SWAT board member who
loved tennis and wanted to encourage youth to play tennis. Brad has been active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, Key Club, and Varsity Club. He also volunteered in the Special Olympics and at the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center. He was named Most Valuable Player of the tennis team the past three years. Following graduation, Brad will attend Shepherd University in Sheperdstown, WV. SWAT congratulates the winners.
